Understanding the Bible

The Bible only has one subject matter, one thing that is written about in many ways, through a variety of expressions.

Through various forms and concepts and personalities, and types and shadows, metaphors and prophetic utterances and miraculous signs, and that is (the glory of God and) the advancement of God’s kingdom for the recovery of the human race to its original exalted position. So every doctrine, every narrative, every act of God is designed to achieve that goal, that the Kingdom of God be restored to the human race and the planet.

As The Word said in  Revelation 5:10 declares, “You have made them to be a kings and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth.” This is the endgame of Scripture—to restore us not just to forgiveness, but to kingdom-Kingship and Dominion.

So when we read Scripture, we’re not just reading ancient history or moral lessons—we are encountering the unfolding of God’s strategy to bring Heaven to Earth.

Today, reflect on this:
Where in your life is God inviting you to yield more fully to His Kingdom?
How is He using you to reflect His greater plan?

Prayer:
Father, thank You for revealing Your Kingdom through Your Word. Help me to see beyond the surface—to recognize Your hand at work, drawing me into Your purpose. Let Your Kingdom come in me, and through me, today.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
